...tutta la partitura sembra tendere allo stile mozartiano con particolare riferimento al concerto per flauto e orchestra K.314 (composto da Mozart agli inizi del 1778, come trascrizione di un concerto per oboe del 1777) e appare evidente come nell’incipit del primo movimento benedettiano riecheggino le prime battute del K. 314, quasi una citazione che ne dichiara l’ammirazione per il genio salisburghese.

...the whole score seems to tend towards Mozart's style with particular reference to the concert for flute and orchestra K.314 (composed by Mozart at the beginning of 1778, as a transcription of an oboe concert from 1777) and it is clear that the incipit of the first Benedictine movement echoes the first bars of K. 314, almost a quotation that declares his admiration for the Salzburg genius.
