Si tratta di una ballad di stampo jazzistico ideata per le sonorità del “classico” quintetto di fiati.
September in Kraków was composed for a September 2023 concert at the Florianka Aula (Hall) in Krakow, Poland, as part of the Cracoviensis Musical Evenings event, organized by Francesco Bottigliero. It is a jazz-inspired ballad conceived for the sounds of a "classic" wind quintet.
