Petrella, namely I Promessi Sposi; we could therefore title Capriccio da sala for Flute with Piano accompaniment on E. Petrella's work I Promessi Sposi. The publisher F. Lucca, careful to promote the work of the maestro Petrella, publishes this work by the flautist Gariboldi who intersperses elaborate cadences for the flute between the quotations of the themes.
