Salvatore Pappalardo nasce a Catania il 21 Gennaio 1817. Intraprende gli studi musicali nella sua città sotto la guida del fratello Martino, compositore, proseguendo poi al Conservatorio di Palermo sotto la guida di Pietro Raimondi.
Salvatore Pappalardo was born in Catania on January 21, 1817. He began his musical studies in his city under the guidance of his brother Martino, composer, and then continued at the Palermo Conservatory under the guidance of Pietro Raimondi.
