Giulio Viozzi (nato Weutz), compositore, pianista, direttore d'orchestra e critico musicale, nacque a Trieste nel 1912 . Studiò pianoforte e composizione con Antonio Illersberg presso il Liceo musicale “Giuseppe Tartini”di Trieste . In seguito si perfezionò a Berlino con Angelo Kessissoglu, pianista allievo di Busoni.
Giulio Viozzi (born Weutz), composer, pianist, conductor and music critic, was born in Trieste in 1912. He studied piano and composition with Antonio Illersberg at the Liceo musicale "Giuseppe Tartini" in Trieste. Afterwards he studied in Berlin with Angelo Kessissoglu, pianist and pupil of Busoni.
