La fantasia da concerto è molto virtuosistica e si apre come al solito con una breve introduzione pianistica, un Andante Maestoso in tempo ordinario in do minore che prepara l’ingresso del flauto con una cadenza solistica impegnativa, inframmezzata da un breve intervento del pianoforte, che si chiude con una coda molto ampia.
The concert fantasy is very virtuosic and opens as usual with a short piano introduction, an Andante Maestoso in ordinary time in C minor which prepares the entrance of the flute with a demanding solo cadence), interspersed with a brief intervention of the piano, which closes with a very long coda.
