“Ciaccona di Dario” was written in 2001 for the birth of my son.
The inspiring motif are the typical ostinato from Chaconne, elaborated according to rhythmic processes borrowed from the Fibonacci series, which creates unresolved expectations, given its characteristic asymmetry.
