Nacque a Macerata il 17 marzo 1830 in una famiglia benestante e venne battezzato il giorno seguente col nome di Giuseppe Francesco Gabriele Patrizio Gaspare… La Dernière Pensée per flauto e pianoforte merita un approfondimento… Da notare che l’edizione non riporta neanche il numero d’opera e la cosa è strana perché generalmente le composizioni di Gariboldi lo hanno sempre….
He was born in Macerata on 17th March 1830 into a wealthy family and was baptized the following day with the name of Giuseppe Francesco Gabriele Patrizio Gaspare… The Last Thought for flute and piano deserves further study… It should be noted that the edition does not even report the opera number and this is strange because Gariboldi's compositions generally always have it.
